Jenny Craig - 6 weeks in.....

Well, as I have written before, I was lucky enough to trial Jenny Craig for a 12-week period. I have recently reached the six-week mark and have managed to lose 6 kilos in 6 weeks!

What is even better is the way in which my body has changed! I have 5 cm from my waist, 4 cm from my hips (wow!) and have had further losses across my body. It means that I have gone from a size 16-18 to a size 14. A real size 14 at that - today I am wearing a pair of Just Jeans size 14 jeans, AND THEY FIT!!!!!

I still have six weeks to go. I have really liked most of the food, but there are a few meals that I haven't liked, but my consultant can make changes to the menu to accommodate my tastes.

What I am planning to do is make a picture diary of my meals for next week so I can show the world the types of food that I am eating. Fingers crossed for another 6 kilos in the next 6 weeks!

Jenny Craig here I come!



It is quite common to see competitions come up on Facebook, and I love to enter them and dream about the wonderful prizes. But recently I had the amazing luck to be chosen as the winner of a competition being run by mumcentral.com.au in which I won 12 weeks of Jenny Craig support and food, and a 12 week gym membership through Goodlife Gyms.

The food is great, and it mostly doesn't feel like diet food at all. The menu is varied, and you can easily swap a meal (in consultation with your Jenny Craig support person) if you want.

For an example of the types of food that I am eating, take today for instance. I had pancakes for breakfast, which I topped with cooked apple and cinnamon, choc-chip biscuits for morning tea, a super-yummy falafel salad for lunch, fruit for afternoon tea and I will enjoy fish & chips for dinner! But I guess that the reason for doing the program is to make a difference on my weight - so how are things going I hear you ask? Well in the first week I was amazed to lose 2.5 kilos!!! I weigh in on Monday so I will hopefully have another loss this week, although I don't expect such a big loss this week.

A big thank you to Belinda from Mumcentral.com.au for choosing me for this wonderful prize, and I am looking forward to seeing where this program takes me. I will also be updating pictures of some of the yummy things that I am eating on the program.
